When you create your first analysis model, PhixFlow opens a modelling pane window in the workspace. To start adding modelling objects, drag them from the toolbar, for example:

1. In the repository, expand Full Repository, then Analysis Models.

2. To create a new model, right-click on Analysis Models and select

3. PhixFlow displays a settings tab for a new analysis model. In Basic Settings, set:
   Name: Introduction to Modelling
   

4. Click

5. In the settings tab toolbar, click

   _model_display _model_display nopanel true

   In the white area workspace on the left, called the modelling pane, PhixFlow opens a new, empty modelmodelling window.

Add objects to your model

You can have multiple files open in the modelling paneworkspace. When a model window is open, PhixFlow displays the model name and its toolbar. Drag modelling objects from the toolbar to add them to your model.

To drag a modelling object into your model:

1. Click and hold

   Insert excerpt
   _stream_calculate _stream_calculate nopanel true

   .
2. Drag the stream onto the modelling panemodel.
3. Then drop the stream. 

To move any object in a model, simply click, drag, then drop the icon in a new location.
