This page is for data modellers who want to view and manage data in streamstables.

Overview

Each time you run analysis on a model, PhixFlow creates a new set of data in each streamtable; see Table. A stream set recordset is a collection of data in a stream table for a given period. 

Stream setsRecordsets, and the data they contain, remain in the stream table until you run an archive task; see Task. If there is a problem during the analysis run, you may find that a stream set recordset has incorrect or missing data. To fix stream setsrecordsets, you can undo the analysis by running rollback; see Rollback Window.

Opening the

Reocrdset List

To see a list of stream setsrecordsets:

• either in a model, right-click a stream table to display the pop-up toolbar
• or in the repository, right-click a stream table name to display the context menu

then click 

The stream set recordset list shows all stream sets recordsets for this streamtable, for example: 

Each time you run analysis on a streamtable, details of the new stream set recordset are added at the top of the list.

Using the

Recordset List

The stream set recordset list includes details about when the stream set recordset was created, its Run ID and its Size, which is the number of records it contains. 

The toolbar has the standard icons and Image Modified Move Stream SetsRecordsets. 

To move stream sets recordsets to another streamtable:

1. Select one, several or all stream sets recordsets in the list.
2. Drag

    to another stream table icon or stream set recordset list. 
3. PhixFlow asks if you want to copy or move the data; see Copying or Moving Stream Data. Select an option.

To view the stream set recordset data, double-click on a stream setrecordset. PhixFlow opens the default view of the data that the stream set recordset contains. If the stream set recordset contains superseded records they will be included in this view of the stream set recordset data.

Context Menu

In the stream set recordset list, right-click on a stream set recordset to display the context menu. The options are:

• Show Log File: display the log file for the analysis run that generated this stream setrecordset.
• Rollback StreamSet Recordset: rollback this stream setrecordset, and all stream sets recordsets that come after it; see Rollback Window.
• Show StreamSet Recordset Data: display a table showing the data in the stream setrecordset.
• Reprocess StreamSetRecordset: this option is available for incomplete stream sets recordsets in an transactional streamtable. Rerun the current stream setrecordset.
