Using Show All Successors and Show All Predecessors to add components to a model view

• Create a new model
• Drag the Stream stream Latest Package Update (you created this Stream in exercise 11.1) on to the model pane – remember that you can drag directly from another model view by holding down the shift key on your keyboard, selecting the stream (or any other type of modelling object) and dragging on to the new model view
• Right - click on the Stream stream and select Show All Predecessors
• All the components that are used to build the data in this Stream stream appear on the model pane
• Right-click on the Stream stream and select Show All Successors
• All the components that use the data in this stream appear on the model pane
• Right-click on the Stream stream Latest Package All Channels, and select Show All Predecessors

• Open the list of streams from the left-hand menu barin the repository browser
• Find the Stream stream Latest Package Update
• Right - click on the Stream stream and select Show Models
• All the models that this Stream stream appears in will be listed
• Double - click on one of the models listed to open it
