Overview

The swimlanes in a workflow diagram visually distinguish responsibilities or sub-processes within a business process.

Adding a Swimlane

Swimlanes can be added by:

1. Right-click on an existing swimlane.
2. Select either of the following as appropriate:

   1. Insert excerpt
      _addIcon _addIcon nopanel true

       Add lane before

   2. Insert excerpt
      _addIcon _addIcon nopanel true

       Add lane after

Renaming a Swimlane

Swimlanes can be renamed by:

1. Right-click on the swimlane you wish to rename.
2. Click Edit.
3. In the Properties, set the desired Name.
4. Click

Remove a Swimlane

Swimlanes can be added removed by:

1. Right-click on an existing swimlane.
2. Select

   Insert excerpt
   _permanentlyDelete _permanentlyDelete nopanel true

Resizing a Swimlane 

Swimlanes can be resized by either:

• Manual Drag: Mouse over the dividing line and dragging the height of the swimlane to the desired height.

Or

• Specific Height: Double-click the swimlane to open its properties.
  • Set the value for the Height.
  • Click
