When you save changes to the properties of a table or view attribute, PhixFlow validates that the properties are set correctly. If there is an issue with the properties, PhixFlow indicates the status of the validation check:
When a table or view attribute has validation errors, PhixFlow also reports that the parent application and package have errors.
Model Validation Status field added to Application/Package/Stream/Stream View Attribute.. When an Individual object is saved the validation is checked and marked as ERROR or SUCCESS in the Model Validation Status. If ERROR, only then the Error grid shows the details of the validated field and the validation message, will be shown in the Errors Grid. The user can fix this issue for the field reported, as mentioned in the validation message. UNKNOWN Model Validation Status on Application/Package/Stream/Stream View Attribute object indicates that object not validated yet. To validate all objects at once, use Administration Menu -> More-> Validate Model Objects. Else the objects will be individually validated when user save/update any object.To run validation checks on all tables, view attributes, applications and packages, use Administration Menu → More → Validate Model Objects. |

This section has a toolbar with standard buttons. When you save changes to the properties of a table or view attribute, PhixFlow validates that the properties are set correctly. If there is an issue with the properties, PhixFlow indicates this with a Model Validation Status of ERROR. The Errors grid contains a list of the validation checks that failed and which properties need fixing. For example, PhixFlow reports an error if the steam has no Data Retention option set. Click on a row to view the error and which property needs correcting.

When a table or view attribute has validation errors, these are also be listed in the Errors section of the application or package to which the table or view belongs. |
