Action Concepts

A stream has a set of  Stream Item Actions (SIA). These represent the smallest, specific operation that can happen to the data in the stream.

You can configure one an action to run perform operations on the data in different streams. This is because the action contains : a list of stream item actions (SIA) that can come from different streams.

.with each SIA, is the rule that specifies the conditions for that SIA to be run

in its list. To decide which SIA to run, the action has a rule associated with each. PhixFlow evaluates the rule, and if it evaluates to true, it runs the SIA and therefore makes a change to data for the stream.
