Forms: Rollback

If you right-click on a Stream or Alarm Generator in an Analysis Model, one of the options that can be selected from the context menu is Rollback Stream/ Rollback Alarm Generator. This will bring up this view. You can then select which Stream Sets you want to roll back.

Form: Rollback

You can choose from one of the following three four options:

  • Rollback a number of StreamSets: if this option is selected, enter the number of Stream Sets (periodsruns) to roll back. The most recent Stream Set is removed first, then the next most recent, etc. until the specified number of Stream sets have been removed.
  • Rollback to a specific run: if this option is selected, enter a number representing the run id ID of a stream set to rollback to. Note that for Transactional type streams this will only rollback the individual stream set indicated by the entered run id. All run ids are displayed in a streams list of stream sets.Rollback to a specific dateID. Run IDs are shown in the stream set list.
  • From Date: if this option is selected, enter a date; any Stream Sets whose period start date is greater than the entered date will be removed.
  • Rollback all data: If this option is selected then all Stream Sets for this Stream will be removed.

...

Once the rollback has been performed, the data for the Stream or the Alarms from the Alarm Generator can be recreated by running Analysis on this object.

Rollback can also be selected from the Stream Sets view or by right-clicking on the Stream in the repository browser. Multiple streams may be rolled back at once from the repository browser. In the repository browser, Ctrl + click to select multiple streams then right click on a selected stream and choose 'Rollback Selected Objects'.
