Forms: Password Reset
To complete a successful password reset, a user must select and answer a specific security question.
Note that users are configured to use one of the password policies that you set up. Password policies that allow password resets also have configured properties to set the maximum time that can elapse before the embedded email link expires. Also they specify the maximum number of security question/answer attempts allowed before locking down the password reset functionality for this user.
If the security question is answered correctly and the new password/confirmation password entered match and agree with the corresponding password strength conditions of the underlying password policy, then the users password is successfully reset/changed.

| Answer | The answer to the selected question. |
| New Password | The new password which the user wants to set. |
| Confirm Password | Confirmation of the new password which the user wants to set. |

If you use the same username and password to log in to several different applications, PhixFlow may be using a centralised authentication system. It is also possible that your administrator has configured PhixFlow:

Step 1 Request a New Password
To reset the password on your PhixFlow user account, click the Reset Password button on the login window.
PhixFlow asks for your login name. Make sure you enter the correct name that you use to log into PhixFlow. PhixFlow will send you an email containing the link to your password reset page.
Step 2 Reset Your Password
As soon as you receive the email, click on the link to go to your password reset page.

Enter the following details.

| Select Question | When you first accessed PhixFlow, you should have set up some security questions, using the Select one of your security questions. | ||||||||
| Answer | Enter the answer to the selected security question. Ifr you enter wrong answers several times, PhixFlow may lock your account. Your administrator will be able to unlock it. | ||||||||
| New Password | Enter your new password. | ||||||||
| Confirm Password | Confirmation your new password. |
PhixFlow resets your user password and you should now be able to login.
