Find your way around PhixFlow
When you first open your PhixFlow training instance, you will see a blank area on the left. This is the modelling pane. The green area on the right is the repository browser. Click on Full Repository to see all the models and associated objects available in PhixFlow.
When you create your first model, and start to add modelling objects, PhixFlow will look like this:
Save models and modelling objects
When you are modelling data in PhixFlow, you will be making changes:
- to a model, the objects it includes and its layout.
- to settings for the model itself, or to settings for its objects. Use one of the toolbar icons at the top of the settings tab:

Create and open a new model
In the

Add objects to your model
To add objects to your model, click an icon in the toolbar and drag it into the modelling pane.

Add objects to your model
You can have multiple files open in the modelling pane. When a model is open, PhixFlow displays the model name and its toolbar. Drag modelling objects from the toolbar to add them to your model.
To drag a modelling object into your model:
- Click and hold
, drag it onto the model, then drop it on the modelling pane. You can also drag the icon around.Insert excerpt _add_stream_calculate_add _stream_calculate

- Then drop the stream.
To move any object in a model, simply click, drag, then drop the icon in a new location.
When you have multiple objects in your model, you can also use the layout tools to arrange them:

Moving modelling components on the pane
To move the stream in the modelling pane:
- Press the left mouse button on the icon and drag it, releasing the button where you want to leave the stream
Any modelling components can be moved in this way.

Undo a change to a model
Sometimes you may make a change to a model that you do not want to keep.
- In your model, drag the stream to a different location.
- Without saving, click
