Find your way around PhixFlow
When you first open your PhixFlow training instance, you will see a blank area on the left. This is the modelling pane. The green area on the right is the repository browser. Click on Full Repository to see all the models and associated objects available in PhixFlow.
When you create your first model, and start to add modelling objects, PhixFlow will look like this:
Save models and modelling objects
When you are modelling data in PhixFlow, you will be making changes:
- to a model, the components objects it includes and its layout.
- to settings for the model itself, or to settings for its componentsobjects. Use one of the toolbar icons at the top of the settings tab:

In the repository browser, expand Full Repository, then Analysis Models.

In the white area on the left, called the modelling pane, PhixFlow opens a new, empty model.

objects to your model
The modelling pane is the white area on the left. You can have multiple files open in the modelling pane. When a model is open, PhixFlow displays the model name and its toolbar. Drag model components modelling objects from the toolbar to add them to your model.
To drag a modelling component object into your model:
- Click and hold
.Insert excerpt _add_stream_calculate _add_stream_calculate nopanel true - Drag the stream onto the modelling pane.
- Then drop the stream.
To move any component object in a model, simply click, drag, then drop the icon in a new location.
When you have multiple components objects in your model, you can also use the layout tools to arrange them:

When you drop a component an object into the model, on the right PhixFlow opens a settings tab.
- In the stream settings → Basic Settings, set:
