When you first open your PhixFlow training instance, you will see a blank area on the left. This is the modelling paneworkspace. The green area on the right is the repository. Click on on Full Repository to see all the models and associated objects available in PhixFlow.

When you create your first analysis model, and start to add modelling objects, PhixFlow will look like this:PhixFlow opens a modelling window in the workspace. To start adding modelling objects, drag them from the toolbar, for example:

  1. In the repository, expand Full Repository, then Analysis Models.

  2. To create a new model, right-click on Analysis Models and select

  3. PhixFlow displays a settings tab for a new analysis model. In Basic Settings, set:
    Name: Introduction to Modelling

  4. Click

  5. In the settings tab toolbar, click

    In the white area workspace on the left, called the modelling pane, PhixFlow opens a new, empty modelmodelling window.

Add objects to your model

You can have multiple files open in the modelling paneworkspace. When a model window is open, PhixFlow displays the model name and its toolbar. Drag modelling objects from the toolbar to add them to your model.

To drag a modelling object into your model:

  1. Click and hold

  2. Drag the stream onto the modelling panemodel.
  3. Then drop the stream. 

To move any object in a model, simply click, drag, then drop the icon in a new location.
