A date time format is a format for displaying Date or DateTime components in grids and forms. A default format can be set in System Configuration and in each application. Individual components can have a date time format set in stream view attribute for grids or layout component for forms.

Parent Details
ContainerThe Container (Application or Package) containing this Style. Container is a drop down field listing all Containers for this instance which the user has permission to view.
Basic Settings
NameThe name of the Date Time Format
Date Time Format StringA string describing the format for the Date or DateTime e.g. dd/MM/yyyy or dd-MM-yy HH:mm:ss. For details of possible patterns see Date and Time Format Patterns.
Date Style Mappings
Date Style Mappings can be used to provide Locale specific date formats. If a date style mapping is specified, the date format from the mapping will be used instead of the date time format string, for users with a locale that uses that date style.
Date FormatThe format for the Date or Date Time, using Date and Time Format Patterns.
Date Style NameThe Date Style this format should be applied for.
