The Installation Guide explains how to install PhixFlow. This explains how to install Tomcat, how to create the PhixFlow database and configure all necessary Server side files.

The PhixFlow Active Directory Guide explains how to configure PhixFlow to delegate user authentication to a Microsoft Active Directory server.

Once PhixFlow is up and running, you will need to configure system properties through System Configuration.

Upgrade

The majority of PhixFlow upgrades are very simple and are applied by following the standard instructions. However, well in advance of each upgrade, please check Compatibility Guide and Upgrade Planning. In particular this page provides information which wil help you plan if you need a database upgrade or need to install an updated version of the Java runtime. Very occasionally there are also special instructions for an upgrade. These can all be viewed from Compatibility Guide and Upgrade Planning.
