Configuring Drag Types for an Application

To configure drag-and-drop actions on an application layout, you need to define a drag type and a drop target. This means you can configure different actions depending on the source of the data being dragged. 

Defining a Drag Type

1. Open the properties for the stream view from which data will be dragged.
   For example, in the layout, right-click a stream view and select Show the Stream View Configuration,
2. In Basic Settings → Drag Type, select the drag type from the list.
   If the drag-type does not exist, click  Add  to create a new one. 

Defining a Drop Target

1. Open the properties for the stream view on which data will be dropped.
2. In Drop Targets,  click  Add  to create a new one.
3. Specify the drag type and the action to run when something of the drag type is dropped onto this stream view.

Field	Description
Name	Enter a name for the drop target.
Drag Type	Select the drag type, or  Add a new one.
Action	Select the action to perform when items are dropped on the target stream view.
