Function: random()

Returns a random integer greater than zero. If an upper bound is specified then the integer is between zero and the upper bound minus 1.

Syntax

random()

random(upperBound)

ArgumentTypeDescription
upperBoundIntegerThe upper boundary threshold to be used when generating random integer

Examples

random(11) + 10

random(11) returns a random number between 0 and 10 inclusive. When added to 10, a number between 10 and 20 (inclusive) is generated.
