Function: ne()

Returns True if two values are not equal otherwise returns False.

Syntax

  1. ne(value, compareValue)
  2. value != compareValue

compareValueAnyList of values to be compared with

Examples

ne(in.success, "Passed")

Returns True if in.success does not match the string "Passed"

sum(if(ne(in.success,"Passed"),1,0))

When used as an attribute definition in a aggregate function, the output attribute will be populated with the number of records in each candidate set for which in.success has any value other than "Passed".
