A database URL is used to specify a database instance to connect to. It includes the type of database, the host it is running on, and (generally) a database instance on the host.
These are the URL formats for the database platforms that PhixFlow currently supports.
Oracle: | jdbc:oracle:thin:@hostname:1521:phixflow |
Sql Server: | jdbc:sqlserver://hostname\myservice;databaseName=phixflow |
MySQL: | jdbc:mysql://hostname/phixflow |
Notes:
hostname | The name of the host which supports the database. If the database is on the same host as the Tomcat web server, user localhost |
phixflow | The name of the database. |
