User groups are used to define roles and restrict access to specified processes and data in PhixFlowcreate groups of users with access to specific objects, data and processes in PhixFlow. The user group has access to the modelling objects and applications listed in the settings tab. The user group inherits privileges from the roles listed in the settings tab.

Roles

The list of the roles assigned to this group. To add roles to the list:

  1. Click Image Removed List Roles

  2. Drag roles into this list to add them to the group.

To remove roles from the group, use the toolbar button

Double-click a role to open its settings tab. Expand the Privileges section to see the specific privileges inherited by this user group.

Streams

     Tick this option to add an additional constraint. PhixFlow adds a User Groups list to this section. Users with the Add and Delete Users privilege can only add or remove a user if they are also a member of a group in the User Groups list.
