Returns the name of this geometry's actual class . e.g. "Point", "LineString", "Polygon"", "MultiPolygon".
If passed a string the geometry functions will automatically convert it into a geometry object.
Syntax
geoType( "Well Known Text" geometryValue, decimalPlaces )
Argument | Type | Description |

geometryValue | WTK String |
or Geometry Object | The geometry the calculation is formed around provided in either data type to determine its geometry class. | |
decimalPlaces | Integer | The number of decimal places to use in the geometry calculations. Defaults to 0 if not provided. Can also take negative values e.g. -1 uses geometry to the nearest 10. |
