Features and Improvements

New Graphical User Interface

User can now drag StreamView into the layout

The User can now create multiple tabs on layouts

Added new 'clear' icons next to Date and Datetime fields

By default, all items are now aligned to a 5 x 5 pixel grid when they are dragged on the old user interface design screens. For example, form fields now snap to a 5x5 grid making them easier to align. If 1 pixel alignment is needed instead, then press and hold the "shift" key just before dropping the item you are dragging.

Bug Fixes

Views

Pivot views now work correctly as driven views on dashboards.

Streams

In-memory stream size limits are now correctly applied, and hitting the limit is correctly reported.

Pipes

Directed pipes could cause analysis to hang on SQL Server if the driving key values differed only by case (upper/lower) or by trailing spaces.

Datasources / FTP Sites

Database Datasource Instances and FTP Sites now allow usernames up to 80 characters, in line with other stored usernames.

When configuring an Http Datasource, it is now possible to configure the SSL Protocols to be used. This allows you to override the default protocol settings which are set by the Java installation, and can cause 'no compatible protocol' messages when upgrading CenterViews' or the external web site's version of Java.
