To upgrade an existing PhixFlow instance:
- Check System Requirements and Compatibility for changes to the system requirements or supported database versions. For example, you may need to upgrade your database or Java version.
- Ensure you have a backup of the database before upgrading PhixFlow.
- Check if your installation is using any of the discontinued features listed below. All data related to these features will be removed by the upgrade process.
Follow the Upgrading PhixFlow and the Special Upgrade Instructions for all the intermediate releases between your current version and the version to which you are upgrading.
Features
DEV-7291 When connecting to secure FTP sites, PhixFlow automatically uses current ciphers. It does not use deprecated ciphers, such as 3des-cbc
and blowfish-cbc
. When you set up an FTP Site modelling object, use the new SFTP Cipher field to enable deprecated ciphers and to put ciphers in order of preference; see FTP Site.
