Function: geoIsSimple(Geometry value)

Tests whether the geometry is simple.

If passed a string the geometry functions will automatically convert it into a geometry object.

Syntax

geoIsSimple( geometryValue

geometryValue

WTK String or

Geometry Object

The geometry the calculation is formed around provided in either data type to determine if the geometry is simple.

Examples

geoIsSimple("POLYGON ((30 10, 40 40, 20 40, 10 20, 30 10))")

Returns a Boolean true if the geometry is simple.
