Forms: User Group
User groups are used to define roles and restrict access to specified streams to a group of users.
An overview of user administration is given in PhixFlow User Administration, one of the PhixFlow user guides.
Form: User Group Details
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the user group. |
| Active Directory Group | The name of the Active Directory User Group which will be mapped to this User Group. Use {instance} to include the PhixFlow instance name. |
The following fields are configured through separate tabs on the form:

| Group Members | A list of users associated with the user group. |
| Roles | A list of roles associated with the user group. |
| Streams | A list of streams that users in the group have access to. |
| Views | A list of views that users in the group have access to. |
| Dashboards | A list of dashboards that users in the group have access to. |
| Actions | A list of Actions that users in the group have access to. |
| Description | Description of the user group. |
