This page provides details of the properties for a colour map, which is part of screen design.
Overview
Use a colour map to specify colours for selected chart attributes or series. It allows one attribute to have the same colour across multiple charts, regardless of its type, and the number, or sequence, of other attributes.
A colour map can be assigned to a chart in the chart's editor.

Examples
A colour map has multiple entries, to specify a colour for each status in two different charts.
The colour map is applied to a bar chart and line graph.
Pie Chart
For this pie chart, the Label Attribute is "Status Type", which has the following possible values
- ERROR
- INFO
- OK
- WARNING
The colour map has an entry for each status.
Bar Chart
For this bar chart, the Label Attribute is "Status Type" followed by the word "Portions", as follows:
- ERROR Portions
- INFO Portions
- OK Portions
- WARNING Portions
This is because the bar graph is a sum of the "Portions" attribute, grouped by Status Type.
The colour map has an entry for each status.
