How-to Create a Google Map

Introduction

How to set up google map that interacts with the data in your application:

Step 1 - Google API key

1. You will require a Google API Key that is associated with your PhixFlow Server. To create this see: Create a Google Map API Key 

Step 2 - Add a Map Tile

1. From the Serene Grey palette, either
   1. For a map embedded in a tile: expand the Tiles section and drag Map on to your screen
   2. For a map only: expand the Map section and drag Map onto the screen   
2. Click on the map to open its properties
3. Update the URL statement to:
   1. "https://www.google.com/maps/embed/v1/place?key=<<ENTER KEY HERE>>&q="+_form.Postcode
   2. Change, <<Enter Key Here>> to be your Google API Key
   3. Change, _form.Postcode to be the field you want to use to set your map's location
      1. Example
      2. "https://www.google.com/maps/embed/v1/place?key=qwerSyCDViINLcfabc5EQ4kHoyE9XOlWQSOdo&q="+_form.Postcode
4. Save all your changes
5. To view the map lock the screen or switch to app mode
