Installation and Upgrade

To install a new PhixFlow instance, follow the standard installation instructions.

To upgrade an existing PhixFlow instance (called CenterView before version 7.0):

1. First review Compatibility Guide and Upgrade Planning to check any changing requirements for database versions etc.
2. Follow the Standard Upgrade Instructions plus any special instructions for all intermediate releases listed in Compatibility Guide and Upgrade Planning.

Features and Improvements

Error display

Errors and warning are now displayed in the middle of the screen. Info messages are still displayed as toasts.

Bug Fixes

Chart fixes

Pie charts now show correct values instead of labels.

All labels will be displayed on category barcharts. Some labels may be reduced on barcharts having x-attribute other than STRING.

Fixed problem with long labels not being fully displayed on charts.

Fixed problem with displaying axis title on charts.

Fixed problem with negative values on charts.

Pipe views

Analysis sometimes failed with an internal error when running streams with pipes that had views set.

Context parameters

Fixed problem with using lists of values as _context parameters.

Configuration export/ import

Export/ import failed when importing new local users (users which didn't previously exist in the target instance).

Export/ import now handles workflows correctly.

Config import no longer invalidates cached datasource details.
