Function: now()

Returns the current date and time, as a string, in the PhixFlow standard date format. This function does not take any arguments. Note the date and time will be converted from a string into a date data type if now() is used in a field of type date.

now()

returns "20100712.111957"

dateGet(now(), _MONTH)

dateGet() returns the month number 7, assuming today is in July.
