Remote Access for Support
Establish remote sessions
The PhixFlow support team requires secure remote access to PhixFlow servers to carry out PhixFlow software installation and support. Ideally remote access will be provided via a VPN, which allows access over SSH (for Linux installations) or Remote Desktop (for Windows installations).
Transfer files
There is also often a needs to transfer files (log files, solution artefacts such as template files and images) to PhixFlow servers. Remote access should allow for this, ideally via SFTP for Linux installations, or by allowing access to local drives Remote Desktop.
Adhoc database access
There is sometimes a need to perform adhoc database operations in the course of providing support. Ideally, access to a customer's database will be allowed from sessions established on customer's equipment by nominated PhixFlow support staff.
