This page lists support for the third-party applications that are required to run PhixFlow at each major release:

  1. A Client Web Browser
  2. A Local Database Server
  3. An Application Server

  4. Java Runtime Environment

    Remember to update your database drivers to be compatible with the version of Java that PhixFlow requires.

Use the table below to determine if you need to plan upgrades to other software with your IT department. Full details of all special instructions between your current version and the new version are available in Special Upgrade Instructions.

1  From PhixFlow version 8.3.0, Microsoft Edge Chromium is supported instead of IE.

2 We support all versions of Chrome and Firefox released in the 2 years prior to the release date. Should you have any problems with an earlier version than that listed, but within 2 years of the release date, or a later version, please contact the PhixFlow support desk.

3 Adoptium Temurin is the new name for AdoptOpenJDK; see Adoptium - Open source, prebuilt OpenJDK binaries.
