Function: hexToNumber()

Converts a hexadecimal string into its corresponding number

Syntax

hexToNumber(value)

Argument	Type	Description
value	String	The value to be converted. If the hexadecimal string isnâ€™t valid, or the string is zero-length, or null, it returns zero

Examples

hexToNumber(in.value)

Returns the number 18 where the attribute in.value contains a string "12".
Returns the number 0 where the attribute in.value contains a string "five"
