DB Collector and Exporter

Scenario

Most business data is in a database somewhere. CenterView interfaces to most major DB vendors products.

In a DB table, in a DB product of your choice, create a table. Now have Centerview read data from that table, modify it and write it back to that table.

Solution:

• Create A datasouce to your DB
• Create a DB Collector to take data from your datasource (via a SQL query) into a stream.
• Update the stream to modify one of the attributes of the data (for example, by multiplying it by 2)
• Create a DB Exporter to write the update back to the same DB table
