Import Data From the Web

Scenario

Data is not always stored in a database or on file. Sometimes, it is only available via a call to a webservice, or a query to some web or application server. PhixFlow needs to be able to get at this data.

Choose a simple online source of data, and set PhixFlow up to retrieve data from that source.

Solution:

• Setup and configure an HTTP datasource.

• Setup and configure an HTTP collectorUse the HTTP collector properties to direct data into separate fields in the tables. Make sure you set the correct response type 

• Read data into a table from the HTTP datasource.
