Administration Menu
The Administration menu is on the top right, on the header bar at the top of the PhixFlow window.
The options that are available in the Administration menu depend upon your privileges. Administrators configure privileges in roles; see Managing User Groups and Privileges.
The menu has the following options:

Contact PhixFlow | Open an email message addressed to support@phixflow.com, if your computer is configured to do this. |
Support Centre | Open a browser window into PhixFlow's online support desk. Your designated support contacts will have the login details. |
About PhixFlow | Display general information about your PhixFlow installation, such as the current version of the software. |

Configuration | Open the System Configuration panel, to check or change settings |
Logging | Open the system logging panel, to check or change settings. |
Import | Options for importing to the current instance. |
Configuration | Open a file browser to select applications or packages that have previously been exported from another PhixFlow instance and import them into the current PhixFlow instance; see Import Configuration |
Import table data previously exported from another PhixFlow instance; see Import Table Data | |
Export | Options for exporting from the current instance. |
Configuration | Open a window where you can select the applications or packages that you want to export. Export Configuration. |
Data | Open a window where you can select the table data that you want to export; see Export Table Data. |
Copy Configuration | Make copies of items. Copied items are added to the repository with a numbered suffix, for example _2, _3. |
Downloads | Open the download area, where export zip files are temporarily stored; see Using the Download Area and Configuring the Download Area. |

Get Log Snapshot | Create and download an Excel file containing a snapshot of the currently running processes. This provides useful information when troubleshooting problems. |
Download Log Files | Open a window where you can specify server-side log files to download as a zip file; see Downloading Server Log Files. |
Publish Tables | Update PhixFlow's database with all the current table data. If there are tables that have previously failed to publish, PhixFlow will attempt to publish their data to the database; see Import Configuration and Publishing Tables. |
Validate Model Objects Available in PhixFlow versions 11 and older. | Run validation checks on the following items:
Results of either SUCCESS or ERROR are reported in the properties → Basic Settings → Model Validation Status for each item after you run the check. |
Find in Repository | Show an object in the repository using the reference provided in an error message. The reference will be in the form:Type-Id e.g. Package-cd29a26a811e426ebb5037c44fb6bcc4 |
Security
All passwords stored in PhixFlow are encrypted. In some fields, users can toggle the view of their own passwords between hidden (a row of dots) and visible.
Exported configurations can be encrypted. To enforce encryption, use a Password Policy.
