Administration Menu

The 

menu is on the right of the grey task bar at the bottom of the PhixFlow window.

The options that are available in the Administration menu depend upon your privileges. Administrators configure privileges in roles; see Managing User Groups and Privileges.

The menu has the following options:

Support

Options for PhixFlow support.

Support Centre

Open a browser window into PhixFlow's online support desk. Your designated support contacts will have login details.

Email Support

Open an email message addressed to support@phixflow.com, if your computer is configured to do this.

About PhixFlow

Display general information about PhixFlow, in particular the current version that you are using.

Open the PhixFlow Help Overview page in a browser window.

Import

Options for importing to the current instance.

Open a file browser to select applications or packages that have previously been exported from another PhixFlow instance and import them into the current PhixFlow instance; see Import Configuration

Import stream data previously exported from another PhixFlow instance; see Import Stream Data

Export

Options for exporting from the current instance.

Export everything.

Open a window where you can select the applications or packages that you want to export. Export Pane.

Open a  window where you can select the stream data that you want to export; see Export Stream Data.

Get Snap Shot

Create and download an Excel file containing a snapshot of the currently running processes. This provides useful information when troubleshooting problems.

Download Log File

Open a window where you can specify server-side log files to download as a zip file; see Downloading Server Log Files

Publish Streams

Manually update the stream data tables in the PhixFlow database with all the current stream data.

Release Exclusion Group

Releases an Exclusion Group to allow a new task plan to run using that Exclusion Group. This should only be used if a task plan has encountered an error and the exclusion group is preventing a new task plan running erroneously.

Security

All passwords stored in PhixFlow are encrypted. In some fields, users can toggle the view of their own passwords between hidden (a row of dots) and visible.

Exported configurations can be encrypted. To enforce encryption, use a Password Policy.
