Forms: User
Used to configure CenterView User details.
Please note: The 'Administer Users, User Groups and Roles', privilege needs to be associated to a role assigned to the user's user group' before a user can add and/or modify users. With this privilege, the user can also add, modify and delete Roles and User Groups.

Form: User Details
The following fields are configured on the Details tab:
Field | Description |
---|---|
First Name | First Name of the user. |
Last Name | Last Name of the user. |
Language | Language of the user. Select an option from the drop-down list. |
Default Dashboard | Default dashboard of the user. Select a value from the drop-down list. |
Email Address | Email Address of the user. |
Mobile Number | Mobile Number of the user. |
Design Mode | If ticked, user's default mode is the Design Mode. Otherwise the default mode is the App Mode. |
Login Name | The login name that the user will log into CenterView with. If the datasource option "Use User credentials on export" is checked, this username will be used to log onto the datasource to perform the export. |
Password | The login password that the user will log into CenterView with. If the datasource option "Use User credentials on export" is checked, this password will be used to log onto the datasource to perform the export. |
Confirm Password | Confirmation of the Password entered above. |
Allow Login | Tick when user configuration is complete and this user is ready to go live. |
Account Locked | If ticked, user's account is locked due to too many login failures. Untick to unlock the account. |
Send Alerts by Email | If ticked, all alarms raised for this user will be sent to them using the email address specified above. |
Send Alerts by SMS | If ticked, all alarms raised for this user will be sent to them using the mobile number specified above. |
Password Policy | The Password Policy that the user's password will be checked against. The built in Password Policy is selected by default. The default system password policy can be changed in the System Configuration editor, in the Advanced tab. Administrators can select another option from the drop-down list. See the Password Policy Details form. |

User Groups | Lists the user groups the user is a member of. |

Field | Description |

Question 1 | The user's first security question. |
Answer 1 | The answer to the first security question. |
Question 2 | The user's second security question. |
Answer 2 | The answer to the second security question. |
Question 3 | The user's third security question. |
Answer 3 | The answer to the third security question. |
Last requested reset time | The date/time of the last password reset link. Read-only. |
Current Reset Attempts | The number of times the user has attempted (and failed) to reset his password. |
Form Icons
The form provides the standard form icons as well as the following:
Adds a user group to the user group list. See the User Group Details form. | |
