Measurement types are used in the Control Priority lists for controls and alarms.

| Name | The name of the measurement type. |
| Internal | Ticked if the measurement type is for internal use only. |
| Weighting | The weight applied to the measurement type when the measure calculation is applied. |
| Calculation Method | The calculation method to be applied to the measurement type when the measure calculation is applied. Choose one from the drop-down list. |
| Description | Description of the measurement type. |
