Forms: User Assignment Rule

When configuring an Alarm Generator or a User Transition you can specify the assignment of Alarms or User Workflow Tasks to a User or User Group using a set of User Assignment Rules.

Form: User Assignment Rule Details

Field	Description
Order	The order in which the rules will be evaluated.
Assign To	The User or User Group that the Alarm or User Workflow Task will be be assigned to if the rule expression returns True.
User Assignment Expression	The rule expression to be evaluated. If True, the Alarm or User Workflow Task will be assigned the User defined for the rule.

List: User Assignment Rule List

Columns

The User Assignment Rule List shows a summary of all User Assignment Rules defined for the given Alarm Generator or User Transition.

When the Alarm Generator is run by analysis or a User Transition is triggered within a Workflow Model the User Assignment Rules are tested in the order shown in the list. The first rule that evaluates to true is used to assign the Alarm or User Workflow Task to the specified User or User Group.

The User Assignment Rule List provides the standard list icons as well as the following:

	Shows the list of Users.
	Shows the list of User Groups.
