Function: geoCentroid(Geometry value)

Returns the area of the left geometry.

If passed a string the geometry functions will automatically convert it into a geometry object.

Syntax

geoCentroid( geometryValue)

The geometry the calculation is formed around provided in either data type.

geoCentroid("POLYGON ((30 10, 40 40, 20 40, 10 20, 30 10))")

Returns the centroid of the geometry.
