Function: geoGetY(Geometry value)

Returns the 'first' y coordinate. 

If passed a string the geometry functions will automatically convert it into a geometry object.

Syntax

geoGetY( geometryValue

Geometry Object

The geometry used to calculation the first Y coordinate.

Examples

geoGetY("POLYGON ((30 10, 40 40, 20 40, 10 20, 30 10))")

Returns the 'first' y coordinate as a Float.
