Function: geoEnvelope(Geometry value)

Returns a geometry representing the envelope (rectangular bounding box) of the provided geometry.

If passed a string the geometry functions will automatically convert it into a geometry object.

geoEnvelope( geometryValue )

geoEnvelope("POLYGON ((30 10, 40 40, 20 40, 10 20, 30 10))")
