This page is for PhixFlow administrators who need to manage user accounts and privileges in PhixFlow. It provides links to all the pages related to configuring and managing users and their accounts.
PhixFlow maintains its own credentials system, independent of external user and password management. Only users who are part of the Administrators user group can create, delete or update another users' credentials.
To see a list of all the PhixFlow users, expand the Full Repository → Users.

User Administration — To configure user access to PhixFlow, configure PhixFlow's own authentication and authorisation system. This includes user accounts, user groups, roles and privileges; see Managing User Accounts.
Users who belong to the Administrators user group can create, delete or update another users' account, user group and privileges.
Optionally, you can also integrate PhixFlow with your existing authentication system using:
- Active Directory (AD) integration via LDAP: Configure Active Directory Integration via LDAP
- Active Directory (AD) or Azure Active Directory (AAD) via SAML: Configure AD/ AAD Integration via SAML
The AD integration via LDAP relies on AD to perform both authentication and authorisation.
The AD/ AAD integration via SAML gives you the options to:
- perform only authentication in AD/ AAD, and handle authorisation in PhixFlow
- perform both authentication and authorisation in AD/ AAD.
